What Is This Forum About?
This website is concerned with the advancement of The Flat Earth as taught by scripture (The Christian Bible) and science.
Is This A Joke?
No, this is definitely not a joke. This page is for the serious advancement of the Flat Earth as the correct view of the world.
Can I Just Post Some Random Stuff About It?
No, you may not post whatever you want here. There are rules (below) that outline exactly how you should post new threads.
Is This A Debate Page?
No, this is not a debate page. This is a page where the Flat Earth is advanced scientifically and biblically.
What Are The Rules Of Submission?
Every single post must follow a similar format as a biblical peer reviewed paper to ensure maximum certainty of the ideas presented. When you think you've found out how something in the Biblical Flat Earth system works, submit it with the correct format (below) under "Pending Interpretations". After the post has been confirmed (see rules on that page's FAQ to see when it can be confirmed) biblically, it will be moved up to "Confirmed Interpretations". After the post has been confirmed there (see rules on that page's FAQ to see when it can be confirmed) biblically, it will be finally moved up to "Biblical Facts".
But in any stage of the progression, a post can be pushed back to "Pending Revision", where a post has in any stage been refuted due to more biblical research. From there, the author must either revise the post to fit the biblical data (and have it go through the process again, starting in "Pending Hypotheses"), or remove it from the website. Since I am KJV-Only, all posts must quote from the King James Bible and never go to the Hebrew or Greek to correct it or "bring light" to any interpretation.
What Is The Biblical Interpretative Method Used Here?
The Biblical Interpretative Method used for submission is:
1. Author and Audience - you report the human author and audience of any passage.
2. History and Culture - you report the culture and history taking place at the writing of that passage.
3. Imitation and Interpretation - using the above info (as well as the passage's context), you place yourself in the original audience's shoes.
4. Testing - you further test the interpretation with further biblical evidence.
5. Fact - your interpretation becomes a Biblical Fact.
What Is The Format Of Submission
The format for submission of new posts with new biblical interpretations are as follows with the Biblical Interpretative Method:
ABSTRACT (A general statement that includes the passage reference and the interpretation - all between 100-250 words).
INTRODUCTION (A given background of the situation and the purpose behind the post).
AUTHOR AND AUDIENCE (The author and audience of the given passage).
HISTORY AND CULTURE (The historical cultural background at the writing of the passage).
IMITATION AND INTERPRETATION (The proposed interpretation of the original audience is given).
SUMMARY (A brief summary of the interpretation of the given passage).
REFERENCES (A list of references to footnotes in the thread. Must use this format (use as much info as possible): (Name, Title of Work, (State of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication), Page Number - Section Title - Minute of Video, <URL Link>). For example: (Rickie Hammonds, Why The Earth Is Flat, (Florida: GoodBooks, 1999), p. 506)).
All of the above (excluding the Abstract and References), must contain at least 1,000 words.
